Dreams, Hope & Reality - LPDP Scholarship (The submission)

As I said on my previous post, I will tell you about this scholarship. LPDP is a scholarship given by Indonesia's Government for its citizen to pursue their degree. It can be either Master, PhD, in Indonesia, or abroad. The main goal for this program is to create a future leader that can bring Indonesia to a better place in the future. The detail about the scholarship can be found here, it has complete information about when to submit and what to submit. I will tell you briefly here and how I do it.
First thing first, you need to make an account here, this scholarship open the whole year round, and I suggest you to complete all the requested document (except LOA) before you submit the application, this is to ensure that you pass the administration selection part. The documents need to be submitted (uploaded) are:

  1. Transcript of records
  2. Copy of Diploma
  3. ID Card (KTP)
  4. Study plan: What I do is translating my motivation letter, and add some more. This is basically what your plan is, what you will study, and what you are going to do after you graduated
  5. Essays: We need to submit two essays, one is what is your biggest success, and the other one is what you have contributed for Indonesia (the extensive skill of writing is needed here, or what we called "ngemeng")
  6. Recommendation letter: You can ask your professor, your boss (if you already working), or someone important in the society (if you currently unemployed, and don't have contact with your old professors)
  7. The letter of permission: You need to submit this if you already have a job, this is to ensure that the company you work for gives permission for you to continue studying
  8. Letter of Consent (Agreement): They have 6 points, you can see the details on their website
  9. IELTS or any other language test certificate: As I have told on the previous post, timing is important, so make sure that you already have your IELTS test result before you submit the application
After you have completed all the required documents, you can submit and wait for the announcement. If you pass they will text you and send the details through email, but don't expect them to be on time, the email can come last minutely, like a day before the exact date for interview and LGD. The next process after you pass the administration selection is Leaderless Group Discussion and interview

PS: If you want the copy of my essays, you can put your email in the comment, and I will send it to you

Good luck!!!!

Barcelona

I went to Barcelona for 3 days, with my friend. This trip is so last minutely so the plane ticket is kinda expensive around 200 euro round trip. But the rest of the trip were cheap, I think I spent around 300 euro for this trip. Here's the details. Day 0 - Sleeping in Airport We took an extra early Transavia flight from Amsterdam Airport 06.05 in the morning. Since we don't have car and count on public transportation, we decided to sleep in Airport, it's my very first time experience sleeping in Airport. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is quite comfortable to sleep in, in boarding area (it's advisable to check in online so you can enter the boarding area) you can see some recliner near the restaurant area, and also sofa which you can lay down. It was quite quiet in the midnight but after 3ish people start to come and it's getting noisy. But if you're not checked in yet, you can find some quiet place on 2nd floor to sleep, but no recliner whatsoever so you have to ...

Summer Trip (Final Part - Prague I'm in Love)

Prague, the capital and largest city of Czech Republic. It's also the historical capital of Bohemian proper . Situated in the north-west of the country on the Vltava river, the city is home to about 1.3 million people, while its larger urban zone is estimated to have a population of nearly 2 million. The city has a temperate oceanic climate, with warm summers and chilly winters. Not much people know about Prague, that's why they questioned me why I would go to Prague all by myself, well after this post I'm sure you will love Prague as much as I do. Day 16 - Finally Prague After a sleepless night at Milan Airport, and a morning flight to Prague. I finally arrived in Prague, one of my favorite city in Europe.    Oh yeah, you don't have to change the currency (EUR to CZK) at the airport, you can just use the ATM, and take money from there (It's cheaper considering the fee they asked in airport). But since I didn't know it before I get a pretty good rate at Milan...
